Lisa Radke
"I only moved to Graz with my family shortly before graduating from school, but quickly realized that I would like to spend my study time in this wonderful city together with my newfound friends even after graduating from high school. My friendships and my close connection to Graz and my home university have lasted to this day - so I am even more pleased to be able to strengthen this network in my current home and to make a small contribution to ensuring that newcomers here in Hamburg have as smooth a start away from home as I was given back then in Graz."
About Lisa
Field of study and year of graduation: Mag.iur. (2003), Mag.rer.soc.oec. (2006)
I am originally from: Germany
I currently live in and work as: Head of Global Terminal & Transport Procurement at Hapag-Lloyd AG in Hamburg, Germany
My best memory of the University of Graz: In my opinion, university life has always had a strong influence on Graz being such a modern, creative, and culturally diverse city. The graduation ceremonies were always an impressive event for me, emphasizing both tradition and innovative spirit.
What has moved me professionally or personally lately: Although I have already worked in various industries and companies, the dynamics of logistics impress me every day anew—because it requires resilience and very quick reactions to all geopolitical changes. At the same time, the growing uncertainty in the world—politically, humanitarianly, and economically—naturally moves me personally as well.
