Panel Discussion: "Getting in Good Trouble, Necessary Trouble: A Discussion on Black Lives Matter"

The Inter.Reading Book Club, together with GUSEGG, the Austro-American Society for Styria (ÖAG) and the Center for Inter-American Studies (CIAS) invites you to an interesting panel discussion on the topic of the Black Lives Matter movement.

On the panel we welcome:

- Dr. Sabine Bröck: Professor for American Studies at the University of Bremen, teaching English-speaking cultures and transnational/transcultural studies.

- Dr. Elka Stevens: Professor at Howard University, focusing on Fashion Industry, African American Dress, visual and material culture, approaching issues of gender, identity and global culture with an artist approach.

- Nicole Wyche Huffman: A brand specialist and queer Black activist who has come to consult brands and companies on matters of inequality, and leads the Black Lives Matter Working Group.
