Alumni keynote "Connecting Millions"
Alumnus Meinrad Spenger has been one of the most successful Austrians abroad for many years. As co-founder of the Spanish telecoms company Más Móvil, he has become one of the most innovative thinkers in the mobile phone sector with 40 million customers. In his role as CEO of MASORANGE, he shares the success story of how he managed to develop a start-up into the leading telecoms provider in Spain.
Silver jubilee
Did you graduate from the University of Graz in 2000? Then you vowed exactly 25 years ago to serve science, to promote its goals and thereby contribute responsibly to solving the problems of human society and its prosperous development. A multifaceted task that you were given back then. We would be delighted if you would return to your university to celebrate your silver jubilee.
Magical presentation by alumnus Paul Sommersguter
After completing his law degree, Paul Sommersguter decided to turn his second passion into a career and became a magician. Since then, he has loved making the impossible possible and regularly makes his audiences laugh, marvel and many even despair.
He is a two-time Austrian Champion of Magic, winner of the Grand Prix of Magic and European Vice-Champion of Magic. He will accompany Alumni Homecoming@UniVibes in his role as magical presenter. Stay tuned! MORE
Masala Brass Collective
The Masala Brass Collective from Graz offers a contrasting programme to traditional brass music. Original compositions and arrangements of Balkan brass, rock, pop, reggae and more characterise the loud repertoire of this somewhat different kind of band. There is room for such a musical crossover everywhere: on the street, in the park, on festival stages all over Europe or in the alumni lecture hall at the University of Graz. Sharing the joy of music is the top priority! MORE
