Based on real events, A HIDDEN LIFE is the story of Bl. Franz Jägerstätter, who refused to fight for the Nazis in World War II. When the Austrian peasant farmer is faced with the threat of execution for treason, it is his unwavering faith and his love for his wife, Fani, and their children that keeps his spirit alive.

The screening of the movie `A Hidden Life´ is presented by the Center of Inter-American Studies (C.IAS), KHG and COMECE, with a follow-up discussion lead by Prof. Roberta Maierhofer (University of Graz), Dr. Florian Traussnig (KHG) and Drs. Michael Kuhn (COMECE).
