What is it like being a PostDoc in Sweden?
German studies scolar Helga Müllneritsch (Uppsala) talked to Isabella Manago (Graz) and Amelia Kenedy (Graz).

Helga Müllneritsch (Uppsala), Isabella Managò (Graz) and Amelia Kennedy (Graz) talk humanities careers. They discuss4ed – among other things – their appreciation of the materiality of archival research, the material turn in the humanities, how to deal with heavy books when you move, how academia works in Austria, China, Sweden, the US and Germany, what kinds of postdoctoral contracts bring what kinds of challenges and benefits, as well as language skills needed when being an international doctoral or postdoctoral researcher.
